You asked for questions about writing. Here's one. What do you do if you're stuck on an ending? You want to deliver surprise, you want that feeling of closure but you want an ending that nobody saw coming and yet feels natural. What do you when you're stuck? I try one exercise where I ask "what if" of my character and make a random list of things without editing. Then I return to see if any of these random ideas might work. But I would love to add more tools to the toolbox. I want an ending that takes the reader's breath away.
Don't we all?
