Happy Release Day: BUGLETTE, THE MESSY SLEEPER

Today is the release day for BUGLETTE, THE MESSY SLEEPER by author/illustrator Bethanie Murguia. It’s out for Tricycle Press/Random House, and Bethanie has a contest going on over on her blog to celebrate, here!

Everyone go pick up a copy of BUGLETTE, and watch for the companion picture book, SNIPPET, THE EARLY RISER, coming from Knopf/Random House in 2013!

I haven’t read it yet (obviously) but I can tell the crow is going to be one of those ‘makes it’ characters. It’s rare to find a PB that’s cute but also features an element of shivery badness. Can’t wait to read it.

Yay! Congratulations, Bethanie and Mary! I LOVE everything Bethanie’s been doing to promote this book. The trailer, the stuffed animal, the leaves for the children to sit on… the stamps! (I actually got so excited I wound up blogging about it.)
