Contest Update

Hey all! Due to the overwhelming response to the contest, I’ve been a bit snowed under in terms of narrowing down entries and picking winners. However, I have it down to a small group of great entries right now. I will post the first winner of the contest, the Honorable Mention, on Monday, March 1st. I will then post the 3rd Place Winner on Wednesday, March 3rd, the 2nd Place Winner on Friday, March 5th, the First Place Winner on Monday, March 8th and the Grand Prize Winner on Wednesday, March 10th!

Thank you for your patience and I think this is going to be a great round of winners. Stay tuned…

  8. While everyone waits (I’m waiting too despite not having entered!), who feels like sharing their thoughts on patience? Here’s my favorite quote:

All human wisdom is summed up in two words – wait and hope.
    Alexandre Dumas Père

Based on that quote, I’m severely lacking in wisdom.

  9. Torture! ; )

I can only imagine how much work this is for you. Thanks and looking forward to reading the winning entries.

  10. How about this one:

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

  11. I been walking the streets at night -just trying to get it right. It’s hard to see with so many around but I know I don’t like being stuck in the ground. The streets don’t change but maybe the names… – “Patience” by Guns & Roses

Sorry, it’s all I could come up with. What’s the next line? I ain’t got time for these games? I need to be on that Singing Bee show.

  12. I am very excited to see the outcome. And yeah, I’ve been checking back several times today. Now I, too, can back to something else. (:

Mary, your post made me chuckle this morning. You are so good at marketing this contest and keeping us all together, hanging on in suspense. I’ve no doubt that’s a skill you bring to your lucky clients and your publishing contacts.

And, yeah… it’s going to be very cool to read the winning entries over the next coupe of weeks. We’re getting to know one another from these postings. I’m looking forward to see what kinds of thngs the winners write!
